Nomad Coffee was established in early 2021 in Bailieboro by local Stephanie Rahill and her partner David O’Gorman. The ethos of Nomad Coffee was to serve quality speciality coffee with a smile and to provide the people of Bailieboro and surrounding area with quality local food options to compliment their coffee. The coffee shop started off in the form of a converted horsebox, which is now parked inside an old warehouse just off the Main Street in Bailieboro. However, as of September 2022, Nomad Coffee is now based in a converted shipping container to provide more space and allow for a more extensive menu. The menu includes numerous local and national ingredients. Summer 2022 saw the beginning of a local food and craft market, the Borough Market. This market provides the community with the opportunity to buy local quality food and crafts while supporting local vendors. The market is held once a month. A sit down area is the next project on the cards. This is a dog-friendly establishment and customers are encouraged to bring their furry friends along.
