JP McMahon is a chef, restaurateur and author. He is co-owner and culinary director of Michelin-starred Aniar Restaurant & award-winning Spanish restaurant Cava Bodega; he also runs the Aniar Boutique Cookery School. In 2022 JP launched JP McMahon Culinary Consultancy and works nationally and internationally. JP founded the international, Food on the Edge Symposium in 2015, the 8th event will take place in October 2023. JP is one of Ireland’s foremost food leaders and a prominent advocate for local food, food sustainability, food education and food ethics.
