The days of sitting in a café on a Saturday for a quick cup of tea are gone. We are still a nation of tea drinkers in Ireland but a coffee culture has definitely caught up with us- and we love it! According to the Irish Times, one in three Irish people now buys a coffee at least once a day – an increase of 10 per cent on the previous year according to a 2017 survey of 1,011 people by Allegra World for UCC Coffee Ireland. This figure has probably increased since then. Here in Cavan, we are spoiled for choice when looking for that perfect cup of coffee, and we don’t have to go very far! Here is a list of our top spots for your next caffeine hit!
