Kristijan Kodric is originally from Croatia, where he was a member of the Croatian Olympic culinary team and won many national and international pastry competitions. The celebrated pastry chef moved to Ireland nine years ago, where he saw a gap in the market for “high quality” desserts and dessert-related products. Croatia’s loss was Cavan’s gain and Vanilla Bean Patisserie has been in operation now for over 2 years.

A fantastic achievement for Kristijan and his team was to have their curd available for sale in all Aldi Stores in Ireland as well as a featured presence in Lidl Ireland in 2022. Lemon curd, Lime curd and Passionfruit curd are on all shelves across the country for you to pick up and enjoy your own fruity taste of Cavan.
