Pure Irish honey straight from Cavan Bee’s! Eamon Hand began keeping bees when he was living in Carrickfern in Cavan town, hence the name Carrickfern Honey. He sells honey harvested from his own beehives so his customers can be assured of the provenance of the product. You will see Eamon regularly at the Cottage Market in Cavan selling his sweet gold. Dinkins is a familiar name on the Cavan food scene, and they have been in operation over 40 years. They have numerous local awards as well as the Great Taste, Blas na hEireann and World Bread Awards for their range of handcrafted breads and sourdoughs. Another amazing Cavan producer is Ice Cream treats based in Killashandra. This Ice Cream is very special. They use all local milk in creating the creamiest, tastiest ice cream and make it by hand in all small batches.
